                                            Harry Watson is a co-founder and Partner of BlackEagle Partners.  Prior to co-founding BlackEagle, Dr. Watson was the founder and is currently Chairman of Caledonia Group, a leading turnaround and operations improvement firm. Over the past ten years, Dr. Watson has led numerous operational turnarounds and due diligence engagements that have created substantial value for his private equity clients.

Prior to founding Caledonia in 1991, Dr. Watson was a principal in two start-ups, one of which, Phoenix Metals Inc., was a high technology materials company where he served first as CFO and later as CEO.  Earlier in his career he was a staff economist at the President’s Council of Economic Advisors and for nine years he was on the faculty of the University of Chicago where he taught economics, finance and industrial organization in the undergraduate college, the School of Public Policy Studies and the Graduate School of Business.  Dr. Watson’s op-ed articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal and appear frequently in the Journal of Corporate Renewal, the monthly journal of the Turnaround Management Association.

Dr. Watson is a current director of Federal Broach & Machine Company, L.P., Rockford Products, LLC, and US LBM Holdings, LLC.

Dr. Watson holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. with honors from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
