Gene Matalene joined BlackEagle Partners in 2008 as Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Matalene has over 25 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He began his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and also worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert, as well as PaineWebber Incorporated where he was Deputy Director of Investment Banking and President of PaineWebber Development, a $300 million private equity fund. For the last several years, Mr. Matalene has been Managing Partner of EOS Capital, a private investment company.
Mr. Matalene holds an M.B.A from Columbia University and a B.A from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
